March 19, 2010 - Zoo Day - Today, we went to the Birmingham Zoo along with every other kid in the state of Alabama. It was truly the first pretty day of spring break, so everyone had cabin fever and wanted to get out and enjoy the day. The line to get in the zoo was crazy, but thanks to Aunt Kim and her yearly zoo pass, we bypassed everyone and got right in. Thanks Kim!! Our first stop was the Larakets. Haden had one hop right on to his shoulder thanks to some sweet bird water and Grammy's help. He was so excited!
Next up, the sea lions. They were not performing at the time we saw them, so we just got to see them swim round and round. Cool dude Haden with his 3D movie glasses on. He thinks they are sun glasses. To funny!

At the gift shop the boys bought these silly gorilla masks. They played in the bamboo and had the best time. Monkey see, monkey do!

This little monkey had the best time at the zoo. I'm so glad we had a nice day and enjoyed spending time with all the family!!
