June 16, 2012 - Here Lizard Lizard - A few weeks ago Haden went to a birthday party at a friend's house. His friend had a bearded dragon for a pet. Haden has talked non-stop about wanting a lizard for his own pet. After much debate, we ended up at PetSmart on the way home from dinner. 

We checked out all the baby beardies and Haden finally talked us into getting one.

Scales! A Bearded Dragon! 

Not only did we buy Scales, but thanks to sweet Dad, we bought all the bells and whistles for him too.  An aquarium, water and food bowl, a hideout and a climbing rock. This little guy is expensive $!  But, the look on Haden's face is priceless! He is one excited pet owner!

He is cute! However, feeding him live crickets everyday is something I'll have to get use to.  Love having a little boy!
