August 11, 2009 - Kindergarten

August 11, 2010 - First Grade - Wow! How time flies. I can't believe one year has passed already! What a blessing to have such a bright, happy, loving child! He still has the same sweet face and smile, but has grown into such a big boy. I love everything about this little boy and pray for many wonderful things this year. We are so excited about his new teacher and all he will learn this year. He can't wait to start reading chapter books, writing big words and adding bigger numbers.

Hadley has no idea what is about to hit her. She has enjoyed every second of Haden being home for the summer. She is at the age now where she enjoys playing with Haden and he with her. This summer has been such a bonding experience for both of them. Hadley was all about helping with Haden's backpack this morning. She wanted to hold it for him and bless her heart, she wanted him to take this bear with him to school.

He is super excited about his new backpack. Phineas and Ferb is his favorite show!

He had to have the shirt to match as well. I remember it just like yesterday that he picked out his shirt for kindergarten and wanted to wear the Star Wars shirt. When I asked him why, he said people like Star Wars and so that way they will talk to me. This year, he said everyone likes Phineas and Ferb and they will love his shirt.

Growing up so fast!
