March 10, 2012 - Busy day - Today was so fun!! We got an early start because we have lots to do today! The kids have been so excited to ride the Trolley, so we took it out to Audobon Park. Haden loved being able to stand up and ride and see all the sights.
Hadley loved sitting with her Daddy and seeing all the sights.
The cutest thing about this cute face is that she called the Trolley the Charley, so that's what we all call it now. We went for a ride on the Charley ;-)
When we got to the park and Haden saw these trees, he went crazy! The first thing he wanted to do was climb them. How awesome of a climbing tree is this! They are everywhere in the park!
Ready, set, climb!
Hadley found her a good bottom branch to hang out on!
Haden needed a little help getting started.
Hadley has made it up there!

Our sweet boy!
Look at me! I'm King of the World!!!
After a great time at the park, we got back on the Charley and headed back to Superior Grille! We love Mexican and their food is so good! My Dad and Haden sat together on the way back to the hotel and Haden got a great tour of NOLA Grandaddy style. He pointed out all kinds of cool things and Haden learned alot. He loves listening to all of Grandaddy's stories.
Back at the tournament for some more basketball!
Check out Haden getting the job done! When that whistle blows for a time out, he is out on that court in a flash! Today, he had a good time goofing off with the mascots and the cheerleaders. One of the girl cheerleaders liked Haden ;-)
Hadley did so good during the games! As long as she had a snack and could watch the cheerleaders and dance teams, she was good to go. She took a nap during the second half every game. She was so good!
After the game, we were hungry again and headed to Mona Lisa's for dinner. They have yummy pizza and pasta and the kids enjoyed their dinner.
Hadley decided she would wear her pj's to dinner so that she would be ready for bed when we got back to the hotel room.
Thanks Mona!
Our hotel had a pool and the kids had been begging to get in it ever since we arrived. Since it was our last night, we decided to give in and let them go swimming at 9pm at night in 50 degree weather. Yes, we are great parents! Haden did not care how cold it was - he was so excited to be in the pool! You can tell from his face that it really is cold!
I'mmmmm nottttttt cccccold!
Meeeeee eeeeeither! The kids had a blast and I hope they will have wonderful memories of NOLA. We are so proud of Haden for doing such a great job being a ball boy! Can't wait to do it again next year. Thanks to my parents for all their help! NOLA really is a fun place for kids too! Thanks to the SEC for all their hospitality and thanks to hubby and daddy for letting us go!
