March 9, 2012 - Basketball and New Orleans - Last night, Haden had the best time being a ball boy at the tournament.  He worked the late game and we did not get home until after midnight.  He slept good and late!

After everyone woke up and got ready, we headed to Jackson square to do some sight seeing.  The kids loved the fountain and made a wish with their penny.

Having a blast in New Orleans!

My sweet family!

While we were sight seeing, we stumbled upon an Irish parade along the streets of NOLA.  It was a pratice parade for the upcoming Irish week, but with all the goodies and beads they were throwing out, you would have thought it was the real thing.  My parents got caught up in the parade and had a ball.  They danced to my Dad's favorite song, Shout and made lots of friends along the parade route.  So glad my parents got to come with us and so glad they are having a good time! All the old Irish men loved Hadley and gave her lots of beads and toys!

Love a parade!

Haden worked the afternoon game and had another great time!  It is so fun to see him out on the court.  He is the cutest ball boy ever! ;-)

Waiting on a time out!

After Haden's game we were all hungry and what better place to go than Deannies Seafood!  It is one of my favorite places to eat in NOLA.  The food is so good!  My Dad ordered the seafood platter - Wow!  That's alot of food!

We tricked Haden into thinking that some of Dad's seafood was alligator tail and Haden loved it!  He can't wait to get back home and tell all his friends what he ate!

Even Hadley liked the "alligator tail!"  She will try just about anything you give her.  We have had a great day today in NOLA.  Time for bed and another busy day tomorrow!
