January 16, 2010 - Tent time - Haden got a tent for Christmas from Grandma Peggy and Grandad Chris. He has been playing in it for days, and tonight he decided that David and he were going to camp out and sleep in it. Seeing how it is super cold outside, we set up camp in the den for them to sleep. Haden had no problem falling asleep and was so excited.
The tent is just big enough for 2 kids, but not a kid and a grown man, so...
...we had to attach the tunnel part for David to sleep in. Yes, he is in the tunnel!! Bless his heart, I know he was super uncomfortable, so around 1:30am, I went and got him out of the tent and told him to come to bed. He did not want to disappoint Haden, so we put Haden in our bed so he would not wake up alone in the tent. We told him the next morning what had happened and said that next time, he would sleep in the tunnel so Dad would have more room. David said, he can't wait! :-)
