January 26, 2010 - Get well soon! - David has been sick with walking pneumonia for about 2 weeks according to the doctor. After all my "nagging," he finally went to the doctor and got some medicine. He has felt super bad and was not able to go to work today. After Haden got home from school at Grammy and Granddaddy's house, he made Daddy a special get well surprise. When I picked him up from their house, he could not wait to get home so that he could give his gift to David. He placed it carefully in a box and put fishing worms on top.
It was a get well card with Valentine's heart candy on it. The card was full of "I love u, You rock, Love bug and Call me." He was so proud of it and worked really hard in order to help Daddy get well soon.
David loved it so much and was so proud of Haden for making it for him.
Nothing can help you get better soon than lots of love from your family, especially your precious and thoughtful children. We love Haden's heart!
