Sandestin - Today, we left to go to the beach for a little R & R along with a little work for David. We love the beach and were so excited to spend a little family time together. Of course the 1st stop was lunch at The Back Porch, then a few fruity drinks at Rum Runners and then off to
Walmart to stock up on some beach snacks.
Haden ran into Ronald McDonald at
Walmart and was excited to get his picture with the statue.

The kids were so excited to actually go swimming in a real pool, instead of the baby pool in the backyard.

Daddy and
Haden
Sweet Hadley with her cute pink polka dot bathing suit and princess water wings.

It doesn't get any better than this!
Haden met lots of boys at the pool and he had a great time playing all kinds of fun pool games.

Daddy and Hadley

Every now and then Hadley would get tired and wanted to snuggle up under her
Nemo blankie and rest. Swimming makes you tired and hungry!

One night for dinner we drove to
Seacrest to eat some yummy Mexican food at La
Cocina.
Haden loves the La
Cocina dog!
Haden's favorite part of the trip was doing the
zipline at
Baytowne Wharf. He was not afraid one bit!

Ready when you are! He loved it!! I posted a video of his first trip at the bottom of the post. He went across the lake one time and then back a second. He waved to everyone below and said it was so cool being up so high!

We love eating at Tommy Bahamas and
Haden loves their "crown bread." He thinks you are
supposed to wear it instead of eat it. Silly boy!

Enjoying his fruity Sprite. PS - They have the best pina coladas ever!! The first time I had one was in Hawaii. Now I must admit, they taste much better in Hawaii on the beach watching the sunset, but they still taste good in Florida too!

After lunch, we did a little shopping at J Crew. How cute is she!

The kids had a good time trying on all the beach hats!

Model material?? I love this picture of her!

So cute!

After a long day at the pool, the kids had a nice warm bath and were ready for bed. They thought it was so cool that the couch made into a bed. A little movie and some Doritos and they were out like a light!

Another favorite place of ours to eat is Borrago. Absolutely delicious Italian food. The kids had a huge bowl of spaghetti and loved every bite!

I love making family traditions!

Make a wish!

We love the Village at Baytowne Wharf. It is so family friendly with lots of things for the kids to do. The kids had a great time!

So handsome!

And sweet too!

Before we left, we promised Haden we would play a round of putt putt. While playing, Haden met a new friend!

His name was Gilligan and he loved to sing and dance. He also loved Haden!

Hadley didn't quite understand the concept of putt putt, she just liked hitting the ball and putting it in the hole with her hands.

Haden had a great time and made a few hole in ones!

We had so much fun at the beach! The kids were so good and loved every minute of everything we did! We enjoyed the sun, pool, fun, family and fellowship! I am so thankful for the time we shared! Looking forward to another big family beach trip in July!
