May 25, 2011 - Party - Today, Haden had his end of the school year party. The kids got to make ice cream sundaes with all the toppings. Haden was so sweet to share a bite of his sundae creation with Hadley.
Delicious!
Haden's class has had a visitor for the past couple of months. His name is Freckles and he is a speckled king snake. His favorite thing to eat is rats! Yuck! But of course all the kids thought that it was very cool.
David and the kids had a fun time playing a game of checkers.
The kids collected gift cards to all of Mrs. Tyson's favorite places and gave her a gardenia bush with all the cards attached. She was a wonderful teacher and we were so blessed to have her this year. Haden had a great class of kids.
After the party at school, we headed to Regions Park for the SEC baseball tournament. The favorite thing about the tournament for the kids is not the baseball, but all the icecream they get to eat. :-)
