August 13, 2011 - Coffee, Planes and Dressup - Yesterday, Hadley and I went to Toys R Us to buy Haden a birthday present for his birthday next week.  She had some money and wanted to buy something for herself too.  She chose this coffee maker that actually works like a real one.  You pour the water into the top, press the button and the water drips down into the coffee pot.  Then, you pour the "coffee" into the cups and serve it.  Can I tell you this is the best toy ever!! She loves it and has not stopped making coffee! She is not one to sit still and play for extended periods of time, but she loves making coffee and has sat still for hours doing it! ;-)

Grandma Peggy came into town this weekend and brought Haden this cool airplane.  If you have just the right wind and a good throw, it flies for about 10-20 yards. Haden loves it and the cup of mini Oreos too!  Thanks Peggy!

Tonight, we met some friends out for pizza and of course Hadley had to dress herself.  What a hoot!! I must say that she did good matching the pants and Elmo tshirt, but the shoes and the hat are something else!  She cracks us up!!

And yes, she went out looking just like this.  You should have seen the smiles she put on people's faces at the pizza place.  Everyone was laughing and smiling as she walked by with her princess shoes that tap across the floor and her silly hat.  Priceless!!
