August 16, 2011 - Second Grade - Today is Haden's first official day of 2nd grade.  The doctor said he had a 24hr stomach bug yesterday (along with a lot of other kids) and that he should be fine to go to school today.  He woke up with a smile on his face and is ready to go! 

I can't believe that he is in second grade!  To me, second grade is a big deal.  In kindergarten he was still a little boy that was going to school to learn a little, in 1st grade he was going to learn some more, but now in 2nd grade he is going to learn alot!

We always have fun picking out backpacks for school.  This year he chose a Star Wars Clone Wars backpack and lunchbox. 

We are so proud of Haden.  We pray that he has a wonderful year!  We pray that God will guide his paths this year, help him to learn all that he can, be a leader, be a friend to all, use his manners and most of all enjoy 2nd grade!  We love you Haden!
