November 27, 2011 - Oh Christmas Tree - Oh how we love our Christmas tree.  However, it caused David alot of heartache. This year, we decided to get a new tree stand because our past trees have not drank any of the water we have given it; therefore looking a little tired around Christmas.  So we decided it was the stand.  This year, the first stand we bought would not hold up this beautiful 9ft tree.  David chopped off limbs and feet off the bottom, but still could not get it to stand up straight.  As the tree kept falling and David kept grumbling, sweet Haden sat on the couch crying because he "thought Christmas was supposed to be a happy time." ;-)  Sweet David finally gave up, went out and bought another tree stand and here we have our beautiful tree along with our now happy kids!
The kids had so much fun opening all the ornaments and remembering when and why they got them.  This is the first year that Hulk has helped put up the tree.  Hadley is determined NOT to take Haden's old Halloween costume off.
Can't wait to show Hadley this picture when she is 18!
Haden loves to decorate the tree!  Every ornament has to go in just the right place.
Sweet Hulk and our vintage Pepsi Cola Santa that we had when I was a little girl.
Our almost decorated tree!  When the kids went to bed, we fixed some of the ornaments so it wouldn't be so bottom heavy.  But, so far, so pretty!
This evening, we went to celebrate Carson's 6th birthday with a Superhero party.  The kids made their own superhero capes, got superhero tattoos and pretended like they were superheroes flying through the sky.  Thanks to sweet Daddy for flying the kids through the air with his legs!
The Galbaugh Super Hero family! General Grievous Dad, Iron Man Haden, Batman Mom and Hulk Hadley!
Happy Birthday Carson!
