November 20, 2009 - Thanksgiving - Today, at Haden's school, they celebrated a Pilgrims Thanksgiving. Mrs. Reach wanted all the kids to understand why we celebrate Thanksgiving and to sample different foods that the Pilgrims ate. The kids ate popcorn, cornbread, turkey, nuts, corn, fruit and of course apple juice :).
All the kids got to share what they were thankful for and Haden said he was thankful for his sister, Hadley. How sweet!
Hadley attended the party and of course was queen bee. She loved watching and playing with the big kids and they loved her too.
