April 24, 2009 -Sidewalk Social - Tonight our neighborhood held its first sidewalk social of this summer season. All neighbors gather at a designated house and just hang out in the driveway. Bring your lawn chairs, food and beverages and have a good time getting to know your neighbors. The kids had a great time! Hadley was passed around like a little hot potato, and Haden talked with everyone. Haden "drove" to the party in his Diego jeep and actually parallel parked between 2 cars. When he got out of the jeep he ran up to the party and said "We're here!" What a mess! It was fun getting to meet new people and actually put a house with a face. We will have these every other Friday night until the end of the summer. I guess we will need to volunteer our driveway soon.
A little cuddle time before bed. Mr. social bug is tired!
