May 18, 2012 - Field Day - Today was field day at Gwin. The kids get to take a break from the classroom and just PLAY!  Hadley and I love to volunteer at the school for fun events such as this. We were in charge of the inflatable baseball stadium.  The kids had a blast. I can't believe Haden is almost done with 2nd grade. He is such a cutie!

Hadley loved to play the game while we were waiting on other classes to come play. Believe it or not, she is really good at hitting the ball off the tee. She made contact with the ball just about every swing and she was so proud of herself.  Go Hadley!!

Haden's classmates are so sweet and they love when Hadley comes to visit. They all call her name, try to pick her up, talk to her in sweet voices and let her hang out with them just like she is in their class.  She loves every minute of it!

The girls in Haden's class let Hadley be on their sack race team.  She was so excited to play with them!

The kids had a blast dancing to some hip hop rap music. Hadley kept up with the beat and moves. Haden made up his own moves. Field Day was a blast!
