September 16, 2009 - On days like today, we love going places after school. It is such a nice day and Haden told me he did not want to go home, he wanted to go somewhere. So, we ended up at Star Lake. The ducks were quite feisty today, so we did not get to close. We threw them our bread and just walked around the lake. Haden thought it was quite funny how the ducks were acting.

Hadley loves to be outside. With all this rain we've had, it is nice to have a sunny day! Her little eyes are overwhelmed by the sun and she could not keep them open. By the way, check out her pink shoes. She loves them so much, she will not let us take them off. We have to sneak them off after she goes to sleep. Then, first thing in the morning, she says "shoes shoes," and they do not come off again until bathtime and bedtime. She is so funny!!
