March 17, 2011 - Spring Break - Today was a great day as we spent time with our family. We started off at Milos for lunch and then headed over to Vulcan Park. Vulcan is located right in our own backyard. He is the largest cast iron statue in the world. I thought the kids would enjoy seeing the city from atop Vulcan.
Haden was very excited to go to Vulcan today and thought it was so cool to see Birmingham from so high up.

We had a great time at Vulcan. Glad we got to spend some time with Brooke, Kim, Carson, Cooper, Grammy and Grandaddy.
After Vulcan we headed to get a treat at Dreamcakes. The kids loved every bite of these super yummy strawberry cupcakes. So good!!

After our busy day, we came home to just relax and play in the backyard. Before I knew it, Hadley was covered head to toe in mud!! She pretended she was Superman and went flying face first into a dirt pile in the backyard.
She had a mouth full of dirt, but didn't seem to care at all. She is a messy princess today!
After everyone got all cleaned up, we enjoyed spending time on the screen porch watching tv and talking about what to do tomorrow! Stay tuned!
